Spain gives Afghanistan $1.1m in humanitarian aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): Spain has contributed EUR 1 million (US$1.1 million) to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF), the United Nations says.

In a post on X, Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs thanks Spain for its new contribution of to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.”

“Your continued support is saving lives in Afghanistan,” OCHA said, while welcoming the assistance from Spain.

Earlier, United Nations Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan (UN-STFA) announced $1.56 million in humanitarian aid from Luxembourg.
