KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan's Embassy in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, has continued its activities as usual and is at the service of its people and other clients, an official said on Friday.
Zakir Jalali, a senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on his x.com wrote: “People should be confident that consular services are carried and the country's representation is held with complete transparency, responsibility, and commitment by the diplomats of the Islamic Emirate at the embassy.”
Earlier, some media outlets published reports yesterday that the Turkish government has taken control of the Afghan embassy in Ankara and dismissed a number of diplomats left over from the previous government.
