Afghanistan to vie in 4-way global futsal event

KABUL (Pajhwok): A futsal tournament featuring Brazil, Greenland, Iran and Afghanistan, will be held next month, the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) said on Monday.

AFF wrote on its Facebook page the Afghanistan team was participating in the quadrennial tournament, to be hosted by Brazil. The competition will take place from March 3 to 9.

Meanwhile, AFF has extended the contract of Iranian coach Majid Murtazaei for another year. Afghan players will play in the four-nation tournament under the guidance of the coach.
