KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Football Federation (NFF) has announced the 18-member futsal squad in preparation for the four-nation Futsal Tournament hosted by Brazil.
The NFF of its Facebook page on Saturday wrote that 18-member squad has been announced for the four-nation futsal tournament in Brazil.
Sources said that the list includes Mohammad Javad Safari, Ali Reza Jaghfari, Ali Ahmad Mohseni, Mehdi Norouzi, Hamid Reza Hosseini, Khodadad Ebrahimi, Reza Hosseinpour, Mehran Allami, Omid Qanbari, Akbar Kazemi, Mohammad Moradi, Farzad Mahmoudi, Hossein Mohammadi, Sayed Mujtaba Hosseini, Bahman Gargij, Hossein Hassanzadeh, Mohammad Ali Mumtaz and Abdul Bashir Ahmadi.
These players will participate in the aforementioned quadrennial tournament after a training camp in the Iranian city of Mashhad, the source said.
Earlier, on February 12th the national FF announced that the country's national futsal team will participate in the futsal quadrennial tournament hosted by Brazil, which will be held from March 13 to 19.
This comes as the Afghan Football Federation extended the contract of Iranian coach Majid Mortezaei for another year on February 7, and Afghan players would play in the four-nation tournament under his supervision.
