Parwan police arrest gang involved in murder, theft

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A six-member gang accused of murder and theft has been arrested by police in central Parwan province, an official said on Sunday.

Fazal Rahim Miskinyar, police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News a resident of northern Baghlan province was stabbed to death some time ago in Gulbahar area of Jabal Siraj district and his vehicle was stolen.

Without going to further details, Miskinyar said six suspects involved in the incident had been arrested.

Miskinyar added the suspects had confessed to their crime and their case had been referred to relevant judicial organs.
