KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan has exported fresh fruits worth 143 million US dollars to different countries during the current year, says the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI).
Over the last 11 months of the current solar year, Afghanistan exported approximately 296 tonnes of fresh fruits, valued at $143.11 million, MoCI said in a statement.
It added the fruits were exported to Pakistan, India, the United Arab Emirates, China, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States, France, Australia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
The exports included apples, pomegranates, grapes, fresh figs, apricots, cherries, mulberries, melons, black mulberries, watermelons and other fruits.
