KABUL (Pajhwok): Forty-seven Afghan nationals, recently freed from prisons in Pakistan, have returned to Afghanistan, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Monday.
According to a statement from the MoRR, the individuals arrived through the Spin Boldak crossing on Sunday.
A source from the Border Patrol Directorate of Spin Boldak in Kandahar was quoted as saying, “These individuals were arrested in various parts of Pakistan for lacking legal documents and were held in detention for 45 days.”
The ministry added that the returning Afghans were transferred to their home areas after receiving assistance.
