JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Eleven individuals were injured in a traffic accident in eastern Nuristan province on Wednesday, an official said.
Police spokesman Ghulam Rahman Haidari told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident occurred when a passenger vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a ditch in Dahan Piyaz village of Doab district at around 6:00am.
Haidari said that all 11 individuals sustained injuries in the accident.
He added that security forces arrived at the scene and transported the injured to Doab Hospital for treatment.
