GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and as many others wounded in a traffic accident in southern Ghazni province.
In a statement, police headquarters said that the accident occurred on Monday when a passenger car struck an 11-year-old girl while she was crossing the road. The vehicle then swerved off the road and flipped over in the Qarabagh district along the Kabul-Kandahar highway.
The statement confirmed that the girl and one woman lost their lives in the accident, while two others sustained injuries.
The injured individuals were promptly evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment.
