IEA supreme leader leads Eidul Fitr prayers in Kandahar

KABUL (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s supreme leader Haibatullah Akhunzada led Eidul Fitr payers in southern Kandahar province on Sunday.

IEA spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the supreme leader led Eid al-Fitr prayers held at the Eid Gah mosque in Kandahar City.

“Today, Eidul Fitr prayers were offered under the leadership of Amir al-Mu’mineen, may God protect him, in Kandahar’s Eidgah Mosque, which was attended by thousands of compatriots.”

It is worth noting that today (Sunday) the first day of Eidul Fitr was celebrated in many countries around the world, including Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.
