FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Two individuals have been killed and two others wounded as a result of traffic accident in Tashkan district of northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Friday.
Police spokesman Ihsanullah Kamgar told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident happened in Dah Astayan area of the district late on Thursday.
He said the accident took place when a pickup truck veered off the road and overturned, killing the driver and another passenger, and injuring two others.
The wounded were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
