PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Three security personnel have been killed and two others wounded in a clash with suspected militants in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Three Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel suffered the casualties in an exchange of fire in Bannu district late on Wednesday night, police said.

The e gunbattle erupted in the Spin Tangi area of Chashmi, said a statement from the office of Bannu Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sajjad Khan.

Two alleged terrorists were also killed and as many others injured in police firing. Weapons, IEDs and hand grenades were recovered.
