5 killed, 38 injured in attack on Khuzdar school bus

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least five people, including three children, were killed and dozens wounded in a suicide attack on a school bus in Balochistan province on Wednesday, a media report said.

Dawn reported a bomb exploded on a school bus in Khuzdar district this morning, leaving five people, including three children, dead and 38 others injured.

The newspaper, citing local officials, confirmed the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber. Some of the injured are said to be in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press quoted Deputy Commissioner Yasir Iqbal as saying the attack occurred while the bus was transporting students from a school operated under the supervision of the military.
