Ghazni man dies after falling into karez well

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A man died after falling into a well in Ab Band district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened when a man fell into a well of a karez system in Chochorki village on Tuesday.

He said the well’s mouth also broke and its debris fell on the man, but residents pulled him out and evacuated him to hospital where he breathed his last today (morning).
