Jalalabad man commits suicide after killing parents

KABUL (Pajhwok): A man has committed suicide after killing his parents in the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Syed Tayeb Hammad told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident occurred in the 5th police district of Jalalabad, the provincial capital, on Friday.

He said the man fatally stabbed his mother and father before committing suicide.

He added security forces rushed to the scene shortly after the parricide and launched investigation into the motive behind the killings.
