KABUL (Pajhwok): The Spin Boldak crossing in southern Kandahar province will remain shut on the first two days of Eidul Adha against passengers, the General Directorate of Border Police says.
The crossing will remain closed against cargo vehicles for four days effective from the first day of Eid, said Border Police Spokesperson Abidullah Farooqi.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News that all passengers should avoid traveling on the said route, which will be open to passengers from noon to 3 p.m. on the third and fourth days of Eid.
According to him, the route will be closed against heavy vehicles and empty trucks for the four days of Eid.
He also said that the Bahramcha land port gate on the Durand Line, which was closed last week due to a series of problems, was reopened to passengers today.
He said that passengers could travel on the route.
