KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly a dozen people have been killed and four others wounded in a traffic accident on the Kabul-Herat highway in southern Helmand province, police said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the police headquarters said a 580-type passenger bus collided with a Flying coach vehicle in Karez area of Washir district on Tuesday.
It said eleven people lost their lives and four others were wounded in the collision.
The statement added the injured were evacuated to 215 Al-Azm Army Corps and Grishk district health centers for medical treatment by security forces.
