Futsal “B” League featuring10 teams begins in Ghazni

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The Futsal B League tournament featuring 10 teams has begun in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Tuesday.

Physical Education and Sports director Bilal Mujahid told Pajhwok Afghan News the participating teams have been divided into different groups.

The competition will last about a month and a half, he added.

Mujahid said Sanai Ghaznavi futsal team won the tournament’s first match against Afghan Naveen team  7-2.

According to him, the tournament was launched to identify the best futsal team of the year.

Athletes are happy that the “B” League futsal competition has begun in the province.

Arin, a player, told Pajhwok Afghan News such competitions could enhance the experiences of athletes and called for providing facilities to athletes in various fields.
