21 crime suspects arrested in Jawzjan

SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested 21 crime suspects in northern Jawzjan province.

Police spokesman Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi told Pajhwok Afghan News that in separate operations over the past two weeks, 21 people were arrested in Shiberghan city and several districts of the province on charges of theft, gambling and moral corruption.

He added that the intelligence and security forces of the IEA are constantly working to prevent any kind of disorder and disruption to public order, and no one will be allowed to disturb the peace of society.

He emphasized that ensuring security and protecting the lives and property of the people are among the top priorities of the government.
