It said the law outlines the conditions for the appointment of Hajj instructors, their responsibilities before departure within Afghanistan and at airports, during the pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia and upon return to Afghanistan.

The statement added as per the law, Hajj instructors were obliged to maintain order among pilgrims, coordinate and cooperate with all officials of Hajj mission and resolve pilgrims’ issues throughout the journey from start to finish.

The statement noted: “Explaining the rulings related to Hajj rituals, guiding pilgrims on how to perform the rites, raising awareness regarding acts contrary to Sharia and other important matters are among the additional responsibilities of Hajj instructors specified in this law.”
