4 health centers, 3 pharmacies closed in Khost for violations

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Four health centers and three pharmacies have been closed for failing to comply with health laws and regulations in southeastern Khost province, an official said on Thursday.

In a statement, the governor’s house press office said that officials from the Department of Public Health in Khost conducted inspections of several health centers, pharmacies, and food shops in the city.

According to the statement, during the inspection, four health centers and three pharmacies in the 2nd and 4th districts were sealed for non-compliance with relevant rules and regulations.

Public health officials urged all health facilities and pharmacies to strictly observe health-related laws and regulations and avoid any kind of violations, the report added.
