Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan 3-2 in volleyball opener

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan lost their first match to Sri Lanka in the Central Asia Volleyball Championship.

The Central Asia Volleyball Championship, featuring nine countries including Afghanistan, kicked off today in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

In the tournament’s opening match, the Afghan national team faced Sri Lanka and lost the game 3–2.

The national team will play its second match of the tournament tomorrow against the Maldives.
