GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least four people were killed and 16 others injured in a traffic accident in southern Ghazni province on Friday morning.
Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident occurred when a Hilux and a Mazda truck collided in the Askar Kot area of the Kabul–Kandahar highway in Qarabagh district.
He said women and children were among the dead and injured.
According to Sarhadi, the Mazda was transporting the belongings of returning refugees traveling from neighboring Pakistan to Kunduz province.
