3 killed, 5 wounded as tractor plunges into canal in Helmand

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least three people have been killed and five others injured after a tractor plunged into a canal in southern Helmand province, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Mullah Izatullah Haqqani said the incident occurred on Saturday in the 10th police district of Lashkargah, the provincial capital.

He added that the tractor, carrying several passengers, veered off the road and fell into the canal, resulting in three fatalities and five injuries.
