KANDAHAR (Pajhwok) Seven people lost their lives in a traffic accident in Maiwand district of southern Kandahar province on Friday morning, police said.
Kandahar Police spokesman Mullah Asadullah Jamshid told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident took place when a fielder vehicle and a cargo trailer collided in Tori area of Maiwand district.
He added that seven people, including a woman and a child, were killed in the crash.
He blamed the accident on the fielder vehicle’s high speed.
