KABUL (Pajhwok): The Natural Disaster Preparedness Department of Maidan Wardak says the main road in Daimirdad district has been blocked by a landslide.
In a statement, the department said the landslide occurred on Thursday night in the Lashkari area of Daimirdad district following snowfall and rainfall.
It added that efforts are underway, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to reopen the road as soon as possible.
