KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Afghans with dual citizenship abroad could enter their homeland without visa, rejecting reports that the Islamic Emirate has made Afghanistan visas mandatory for them.
Ahmad Zia Takal, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on his X-Page that recently some media outlets claimed that the Islamic Emirate had made Afghan visas mandatory for Afghans with dual nationality abroad to enter the country, but in reality, no such decision has been made.
Takal said that Afghans who want to travel to Afghanistan on a foreign passport do not need to obtain an Afghan visa and they can travel to Afghanistan without a visa by showing their Afghan identity.
