TIRNIKOT (Pajhwok): Two people were killed and nine others injured, all members of the same family, in a traffic accident in central Uruzgan province.
According to a police statement, the accident occurred on the road between Khas Uruzgan and Chinarto districts when a Hilux vehicle overturned.
The statement added that the victims included women and children. The injured have been taken to a nearby medical center.
Sources confirmed that the family was traveling from Khas Uruzgan to Chinarto at the time of the accident.
