KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) says the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce has been inaugurated in Kabul, a development expected to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
According to the ministry, the chamber was formally opened during the official visit of a Kyrgyz delegation, in the presence of Minister Nooruddin Azizi, Bekit Sydykov, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Economy and Trade and representatives from the private sectors of both nations.
The Kyrgyz delegation arrived in Kabul on Wednesday. The ministry stated that the establishment of the chamber represents a significant step toward institutionalizing and enhancing trade and economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
It is expected to create opportunities for expanding collaboration, increasing trade exchanges, facilitating communication between traders, and promoting joint investments.
