3 journalists among 11 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 11 Palestinians, including two children and three journalists, have been killed and six others injured in the latest Israeli attacks in Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

Munir al-Barsh, Director General of Gaza’s Ministry of Health, told Al Jazeera that three journalists were killed on Wednesday after their vehicle was directly targeted.

According to the report, Anas Ghanim, Abdulraouf Shaath, and Mohammad Qashta were documenting events near the so-called Netzarim corridor in central Gaza when they were killed in an Israeli airstrike. Another person also died in the same attack.

The journalists had been filming a newly established displacement camp, and their vehicle was reportedly clearly identifiable to the Israeli army.

Israeli airstrikes targeted another vehicle in central Gaza on Wednesday, killing three members of the same family, including a child.

In a separate incident, a 13-year-old boy was shot dead by Israeli forces while collecting firewood in the Bani Suheila area of southern Gaza.

Additionally, a 32-year-old woman was killed near Khan Younis, and three other Palestinians lost their lives in northern Gaza.

Palestinian officials say Israel has repeatedly violated the US-mediated ceasefire agreement since it came into effect on 10 October.
