LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): At least six people were killed and two others injured in a traffic accident on the Kandahar–Herat highway in southern Helmand province on Thursday.
According to the Helmand Police, the accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. in the Sangilan area when a cargo truck collided with a Luxel vehicle.
The statement added that among those killed were children, while two others sustained injuries.
The injured have been transported to a nearby health center for treatment.
