SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): One person has been killed and six others, including women and children, injured in a traffic accident in northern Jawzjan province, officials said on Monday.
Police spokesman Qari Abdul Satar told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident occurred on Sunday evening when a Passo-type vehicle veered off the road and overturned on the Shiberghan-Andkhoy district route.
He added that a man died in the accident, while six others—including a woman and a child—sustained injuries. The injured were evacuated to Jawzjan Provincial Hospital for treatment.
