<p style="text-align: justify;">JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three individuals have been arrested on charges of car theft in the eastern Nangarhar province, police said in a statement on Sunday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In the statement, the police headquarters said the suspects were detained in the 1<sup>st</sup> police district of Jalalabad city.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It added that the suspects had been stealing vehicles in Jalalabad and transporting them to specific locations, where the cars were either repainted or dismantled before being sold at lower prices.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Police also recovered several vehicle parts, some license plates, and one stolen car from the suspects. The statement further noted that the detainees had confessed to their crimes.</p>
