6 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least six Palestinians, including a child, have been killed and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.

Medics reported that Israeli planes struck two police checkpoints in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing three policemen and three civilians, including a girl, and injuring four others, TRT World reported.

Earlier on Saturday, three Palestinians, including two brothers, were killed and four others wounded in separate incidents of Israeli shelling and gunfire across Gaza.

According to the Palestine Health Ministry, Israeli forces have carried out daily violations of a ceasefire in place since October 10, resulting in 691 deaths and 1,876 injuries as of March 18.

Since the start of the war in Gaza in October 2023, more than 72,000 Palestinians have been killed, around 172,000 wounded and roughly 90 percent of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure has been devastated.
