KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 11 people, including two children, have been killed and nine others injured in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, a media report said on Wednesday.
Al Jazeera reported a three-year-old and a 14-year-old were among those killed in the Israeli strikes in the northern part of the enclave on Tuesday.
It said that a police officer was also among the victims, while at least nine civilians were wounded.
According to Al Jazeera, despite a “ceasefire” between Israel and Hamas that began in October last year, nearly 760 Palestinians have so far been killed in Israeli attacks.
The Gaza Ministry of Health said that 2,111 more Palestinians had been injured since the ceasefire was announced, bringing the overall death toll since the start of the war on 7 October 2023 to 72,336.
