3 killed, 8 wounded in Ghazni accidents

KABUL (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed and eight others wounded in two separate traffic accidents in southern Ghazni Province, police said on Wednesday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said the first accident occurred on Tuesday when a truck collided with a passenger vehicle on the Kabul–Kandahar highway in the Koti area of Qarabagh district.

It said the incident left seven people injured.

The statement added that the second accident took place on a road leading to Waghaz District, near a refugee township, when a vehicle overturned, killing three people and injuring one other.
