KABUL (Pajhwok): The ninth edition of the inter-zonal one-day List A cricket tournament kicked off in eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday, with Mis-i-Ainak facing Bost in the opening match, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced.
ACB spokesman Sayed Naseem Sadat told Pajhwok Afghan News that teams from five zones are participating in the tournament.
He said players from the national team, Afghanistan A side and domestic cricket teams are taking part in the event.
The tournament features teams from Band-i-Amir, Speen Ghar, Bost, Mis-i-Ainak, and Amo zones.
The event began on Sunday and will continue until June 4.
