KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 16 passengers were killed and seven others injured after a speeding coach collided with a passenger bus on the Swat highway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, a media report said.
The accident occurred when a passenger bus parked along the roadside on the Swat highway was hit from behind by a speeding coach, Aaj News reported.
It said 16 passengers lost their lives and seven others were injured in the incident.
Quoting local police, the report added that the passenger bus was travelling from Karachi to Buner, while the speeding coach was heading from Rawalpindi to Dir when the accident occurred.
Negligence by the coach driver was believed to be the cause of the accident.
