KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 31 people have been killed and 40 others injured as Israel continues its attacks across various parts of Lebanon.
In its live coverage, Al Jazeera reported that Israeli forces have intensified air and ground assaults in southern and eastern Lebanon and issued evacuation orders for several towns and villages.
Reuters also reported that the Israeli military launched more than 120 airstrikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, describing them as among the heaviest bombardments in recent weeks.
According to reports, 14 civilians were killed in the Burj al-Shamali area, while strikes also continued near the Qaraoun Dam, Lebanon’s largest water reservoir.
Meanwhile, Iran described the latest US attacks on its positions as a violation of the ceasefire and warned that it may respond to the actions.
