KABUL (Pajhwok): A 12-member Afghan Kurash team has departed for Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, to participate in the 15th Asian Kurash Championships, referee training courses for first- and second-class officials, and the annual congress of the Asian Kurash Confederation.
The General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education and Sports said the team comprises six athletes, one coach, four referees, and one delegation member.
According to the source, the championships, training seminars, and annual Kurash congress began on June 12 with representatives from 28 countries and will continue until June 14.
