KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Buzkashi, Tent Pegging and Traditional Sports Federation says its president, Ghulam Sarwar Jalal, participated via video link in a coordination meeting for the sixth World Nomad Games.
According to the federation, the meeting was held to coordinate preparations for the upcoming event, scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan from 31 August to 6 September 2026.
It said Jalal, who is currently on a business trip to India, joined the meeting remotely and discussed the Afghan national team’s preparations for participation in the international competition.
The federation added that Afghanistan’s national team will compete in the sixth World Nomad Games, showcasing the country’s traditional sports, cultural heritage and sporting potential on the international stage.
