KABUL (Pajhwok): A young Afghan tourist has completed a motorcycle journey across all 34 provinces of Afghanistan after arriving in central Logar province.
Syed Sajjad Sadat, originally from Ghazni and now residing in Herat, said he travelled through all 34 provinces and more than 80 districts over the past six months.

He said the purpose of his journey was to learn about Afghanistan’s ethnic groups, traditions, customs and cultural heritage and to help promote them.
Speaking during his visit to Logar, Sajjad said the prevailing security situation had enabled him to travel confidently across all provinces and numerous districts of the country.
He added that after visiting Charkh and Khoshi districts, along with several other areas of Logar, he had experienced the province’s natural beauty and the hospitality of its people.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Sawab Jan Islamyar, director of Information and Culture in Logar, praised the young tourist’s initiative, saying the improved security situation had enabled both domestic and foreign tourists to visit Afghanistan’s natural attractions, historical sites and cultural heritage more freely.

Previously, another Afghan traveller living in Germany also toured several provinces of Afghanistan, including Logar, by motorcycle.
