KABUL (Pajhwok): Nine people were killed and 10 others injured in a traffic accident in Mexico’s Jalisco state, a media report said on Monday.
Reuters reported the crash occurred late on Saturday on the highway linking the cities of Guadalajara and Tepic. The accident involved several vehicles, including a lorry.
The Jalisco Civil Protection Agency said two children were among those killed.
According to Reuters, two members of Mexico’s National Guard sustained serious injuries and were transferred to Magdalena Hospital in Guadalajara for treatment.
The report added that four US nationals who suffered minor injuries were taken by ambulance to Arboledas Hospital in Guadalajara.
