GARDEZ (PAN): As many as 1200 trainees passed out on completion of a two-month military training in southeastern Paktia province, an official said on Tuesday.
The passing-out parade was held at the Regional Training Centre of the 203rd Thunder Military Corps in Gardez, the provincial capital.
The graduates would be deployed to the southeastern zone, the 203rd Thunder Military Corps spokesman, Saad Gul Hotak, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Happy over the completion of his training, graduate Zaro Khan from Nangarhar said it was an honour to serve the Afghan army. “I will willingly sacrifice my life for the nation.”
Twenty-six batches have already graduated from the centre and posted in various parts of the country.
