KABUL): The International Security Assistance Force commander on Tuesday strongly condemned the roadside bombing in Chora district of Uruzgan province.
Gen. John R. Allen called Monday’s explosion that resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians the latest example of the insurgents’ blatant disregard for human life.
The dead included one Afghan woman and three children, with an additional six civilians wounded, four of whom were children.
“The insurgency continues its campaign of senseless and cruel acts against the Afghan people despite the claims of safeguarding civilians by an absent leadership,” said Gen. Allen.
According to a statement from the NATO base for medical care.
