GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Government departments in southern Ghazni province have started submitting their annual performance reports on development projects to the governor’s house, officials said on Wednesday.
Governor Musa Khan Akbarzada said new projects would be launched in the capital, Ghazni City, and districts, including Deh Yak, Andar, Muqar, Jaghori, Malistan and Khwaja Omari.
The submission of annual performance reports had to start on December 6, but the process was delayed due to some problems, the governor said, asking departmental heads to complete the task in a month and a half.
Provincial council chief, Hamidullah Nawroz, calling the move fruitful, said it was for the first time that departments were submitting performance reports. It would help inform people about the work done by the officials concerned.
Education Director Hosni Mubarak Azizi, who submitted his department’s report, said they had suggested a string of solutions to problems that hindered development projects.
