KABUL): Visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Akbar Salehi on Wednesday met President Hamid Karzai at the President Palace in Kabul.
Heading a high-level delegation, Salehi arrived in Kabul on Tuesday to attend the fourth meeting of the Joint Economic Commission.
Karzai and Salehi discussed belitaral ties, expansion of regional cooperation and the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit, a statement from the Palace said.
Salehi thanked Karzai for his participation in the NAM summit and hoped for the welfare of people of Afghanistan, the statement added.
