CHARIKAR): Four people were killed on Friday during an armed assault by a rival group in the Nijrab district of central Kapisa province, officials said.
A fifth person was injured in the shootout that police blamed on a four-year-old enmity between the two families.
Gunmen loyal to Sabir entered the house of Spin Gul this morning, killing him, his three nephews and injuring a guest, the town’s police chief, Col. Rahmatullah Akbari, said.
However, the assailants managed to flee the scene, but an investigation was underway, the police official said.
