KABUL Minister Suraya Dalil to grill her about low quality drugs at medical stores and nonprofessional health workers serving in various hospitals.
In today’s session too, the health minister appeared in the lower house but the speaker had to prorogue the session following pandemonium in the house.
The presence of low quality drugs, lack of medical staff and services in government hospitals and growing corruption in health sector were among some questions to be answered by the minister.
The issue regarding lack of female doctors in remote health centres was an issue of concern to be discussed in the session.
The minister said all faciltites were being utilized to facilitate the health sector, with provision of 500,000 afghanis to each hospital for development purpose.
In addition, each government hospital was receiving from eight to 15 million afghanis in three months to provide better treatment to masses.
