2 men with 105kg of heroin detained in Parwan

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Two drug traffickers were arrested along with 105 kilograms of heroin in Jablus Siraj district of central Parwan province on Thursday, police said.

A statement from the Parwan police headquarters said the detainees were transferring the heroin in a truck from the northern region to southern Kandahar province, when they were arrested.

Police in the past too had seized large amounts of narcotics on the routes in the northern region routes, local officials said. Around a hundred people have so far been arrested in connection with drug smuggling in the north.
